Happy Wednesday! I wanted to start a new monthly series called “Monthly Favorites” where I share my top 5 favorite things of the month. I love reading all about peoples’ favorite things and got inspired to share my own. I thought I would kick off my first round of monthly favorites with some of my cult favorites that I use daily and some new items that I’ve loved this month. Hope you enjoy my picks!

Feliz miércoles! Quería comenzar una serie nueva llamada “monthly favorites” aquí en el blog donde comparto con ustedes mis 5 cosas favoritas del mes. A mi me encanta leer sobre lo que a la gente les encanta y me inspire a compartir mis cosas favoritas. Quería comenzar este mes con unas cosas que uso diario y unas cosas nuevas que me han encantado este mes. Espero que les guste!

One/Two/Three/Four/Five 

1. TULA Face Cleanser– This just had to be my first item on the list! This cleanser has done wonders to my skin. I’ve used this cleanser for more than a year and have used it non stop. I was in the market for a cleanser that worked and most importantly didn’t dry out my skin and this definitely does the job. What first drew me to Tula was that it is a clean probiotic based skincare line and many bloggers I follow absolutely swear by it and now I know why! If you want to try Tula I would *strongly suggest this cleanser to be your first purchase!

¡Este tenia que hacer mi primer articulo en mi lista! Este limpiador ha hecho maravillas en mi piel. He usado este limpiador por mas de un año y lo he usado sin parar. Yo estaba buscando un limpiador facial que funcionara y mas importante, que no me dejara la piel seca y este producto lo logra. Tula me llamo la atención porque sus productos tienen probióticos y varias bloggers que sigo siempre están delirando sobre Tula, y ahora se porque! ¡Si quieren probar los productos de Tula, les recomiendo que este sea su primer compra!

2. Palmer’s Swivel Stick– Another item I could not leave out from this list is this chapstick. I wanted to share this this month since it is an absolute ESSENTIAL item for this cold weather season and because it’s also my personal fav. It honestly keeps your lips so moisturized! I apply this before going to bed and I wake up the next morning with super soft moisturized lips. Also something worth noting is that it is bigger than your average chapstick and it will last you a long time. My previous lip balm lasted 7 months! Yes you read that correctly…7 MONTHS! I found out about this through Kathleen Barnes from Carrie Bradshaw Lied and truly did not disappoint. If that wasn’t enough to convince you to try it, VS Model Candice Swanepoel also swears by it!

Otra cosa que no podia faltar en esta lista es este protector de labios. Quería compartir esto este mes ya que es absolutamente esencial para esta temporada de frío y también porque personalmente es mi favorito. ¡Realmente te deja los labios muy humectantes! Cada noche me aplico el protector labial y amanezco con mis labios bien suaves. ¡Algo que también les quiero mencionar es el tamaño de este protector labial! Este protector labial es mas grande comparado con otros protectores labiales y dura muchísimo. ¡El protector labial que anteriormente tenia me duro 7 meses! ¡Si leyeron eso bien 7 MESES! Yo descubrí este producto gracias a Kathleen Barnes del blog Carrie Bradshaw Lied y realmente no decepcionó! ¡Si esa no era razón suficiente para probarlo, la modelo de VS Candice Swanepoel también es una super fan del protector labial!

3. Tula Eye balm– Another Tula item made the list! I was in the market for an eye balm to refresh my under eyes and this eye balm is an absolute winner. I keep this eye balm in my beauty fridge (small fridge where I store my eye creams and face masks) and it feels absolutely AMAZING after applying it. This eye balm helps depuff, brighten, highlight and this one in particular has rosehip oil which can help with fine lines. I love using this when I don’t wear makeup (which is pretty often now) but still want to look awake. The pearlescent highlight is such a pretty pink color but nothing too extravagant, which makes it perfect for everyday use. Definitely a must!

¡Otro artículo de Tula hizo la lista! Estaba buscando un bálsamo para los ojos para refrescarme debajo de los ojos y este producto es un ganador. Mantengo este bálsamo para los ojos en mi refrigerador de belleza (un refrigerador pequeño donde mantengo cremas de ojos y mascarillas) y se siente absolutamente INCREÍBLE después de aplicarlo. Este bálsamo ayuda a “depuff,” iluminar y este en particular tiene aceita de rosa mosqueta (rosehip oil) que ayuda con lineas finas. Amo usar esto cuando no me maquillo pero aun quiero lucir despierta. El nacarado iluminador es un rosado muy lindo y nada extravagante, haciéndolo ideal para us diario. ¡Definitivamente una necesidad!

4. Colorfulkoala Buttery Soft High Waisted Leggings– If there’s something you should know about me, is that I love leggings. I’ve tried many types of leggings and I’m very particular when it comes to leggings for working out, going out, etc. With that being said, I know a thing or two about leggings and these leggings are amazing. The name says it all, “buttery soft high waisted leggings.” They are so soft and you can never go wrong with high waisted leggings. The best part is that these are under $25 so they won’t break the bank. They are comfortable and at the same time compliment your figure. While these have been my go-to for going out they are not my fav for working out. If you guys are interested I can do a whole post further talking about my preference for workout leggings and some of my favorite!

Si hay algo que deben saber sobre mí, es que me encantan los leggings. He probado muchos tipos de leggings y soy muy particular sobre leggings por ejemplo para ejercicio, para salir, etc. Estos leggings son increíbles. El nombre lo dice todo, “buttery soft high waisted leggings.” Son tan suaves y uno no se puede equivocar con “high waisted leggings.” La mejor parte es que cuestan menos de $25. Son muy cómodos y a la misma vez también complementa tu figura. Mientras estos son mis leggings preferidos para salir, no son necesariamente mis preferidos para hacer ejercicio. ¡Si están interesados, podría hacer un blog post sobre más sobre mi preferencia de leggings para hacer ejercicio y unos de mis favoritos !

5. Gelous Nail Polish– This is a must for at home manicures! I honestly have not set foot in a nail salon after discovering this (more than a year to be exact)! I enjoy taking the time to do my nails and would much rather stay home and do them myself than having to go to the salon, so I was very excited to be able to recreate a gel manicure right at home! This is a total game changer! This nail polish gives the “gel look” without needing a UV lamp. The key to achieving the perfect manicure with this nail polish are thin layers! If your coats are too thick, your manicure will likely smudge. I’ll be doing a whole blog post soon sharing my complete at home manicure routine, so stay tuned!

¡Esto es ideal para manicuras en casa. Sinceramente, no he ido al salón después de descubrir este producto (¡más de un año)! Disfruto tomarme el tiempo para hacerme las uñas en casa en vez de ir al salon, y estaba muy emocionada cuando pude recrear una manicura de gel en casa! Este esmalte da el “gel look” sin tener que usar una UV lampara. ¡La clave para lograr la perfecta manicura de gel es hacer capas finas! Si las capas son muy gruesas, tu manicura se va arruinar fácil. Pronto hare un blog post sobre mi rutina completa detallando paso a paso todo lo que uso para hacer manicuras en casa.
